Hyla has a financial aid fund to help ensure that the school is an option for all families, regardless of their financial resources. Approximately a quarter of our students receive aid.

Interested families send financial information to be processed by a company called School and Student Service for Financial Aid. This service is used by independent schools nation-wide to determine what portion of tuition a family can pay. Hyla tries to match our resources to those estimates. Families interested in applying for aid need to obtain the forms from us and submit them in January or February. The forms may also be filled out online at http://sss.nais.org/parents/

Our admission decisions, however, are made on a need-blind basis. Financial aid offers are made within a few weeks of acceptance.

NOTE: At this time, available financial aid resources for the 2013-2014 school year have been allocated.
